The hire shop was closed for the season but no one told us so we stood outside one evening when we arrived and it was shut. Repeated that the next day, lost a few hours of skiing and got a bit of unecessary stress. Phone number for store went ot a mobile voicemail which wasn't helpful Ended up travelling to another branch and they were very helpful. Nice staff and OK kit

The equipment was OK, but quite old. We were disappointed that one of my wife's ski batons snapped on the way to the ski lift despite visible pre-existing wear and damage, and we were charged EUR20 to replace it. She is a very experienced skier and we are confident she had not done anything to put unexpected impact / pressure on it. Even if she had damaged it herself, a single pole of that type would cost a lot less than EUR20 brand new, and was certainly worth less than that after several seasons of rental charges. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly to deal with (even though they couldn't override the policy to charge for the baton).
